Biography & Statement
I studied Printmaking, Painting and Photography at Brighton Polytechnic in the 1960’s. I returned to Brighton University in 1986 to study for a MA in Fine Art Printmaking. I have exhibited widely in London and the South East of England, and two solo shows in the USA where I was invited to lecture on my work.
Photography,Printmaking and Drawing are my mediums of choice. The subject of the work I produce is Landscape in all its aspects. Its forms, its history, climate and moods.
The content of my work is my interpretation of these aspects and what I bring to the subject in terms of my vision, mood and responses to the place, the light, and the weather.
